Today we decided to switch things up with a new Beet Powder Protein Shake!  This shake is a great combination of nutrition beet juice powder or beet root powder for nutrition, and a vibrant red color, and then the delicious flavor combinations of vanilla and banana.

We have all been there before.  Those times when you look in the fridge, or look in the pantry and don’t know what you really want.  You know you SHOULD have something with the protein and nutrition to fuel your workout or day, but you can’t keep making the same shakes or smoothies.  Or if you can you might not want too!

These beet juice powder shakes and beet root powder smoothies are a great way to change up your normal routine and try something new.  So check out the beet powder recipe below and let us know what you think!

Ingredients for Beet Powder Protein Shake with Vanilla & Banana:

2 tsp Beet Juice Powder or Beet Root Powder
1 fresh banana
1/2 cup organic whole milk
1/2 cup ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Directions:

  • Using a kitchen blender, start by adding ice and 1 fresh banana.
  • Next add in the Beet Juice Powder or Beet Root Powder and vanilla protein powder, followed by the 1/2 cup of milk.
  • Blend until smooth and enjoy!
